Chestnut guesthouse

Chestnut guesthouse is a fully renovated A-frame cabin in the town of Nagymaros, only a few minutes away from the forests of Börzsöny.
It is named after the famous chestnut trees of Nagymaros, and on the path of the near-by Chestnut trail you can access a mesmerising viewpoint of the Danube bend: you can see Visegrád, the Island Peak and Naszály mountains.

Chestnut guesthouse can set up a maximum number of 4 people but with proper weather conditions it is possible to set up two tents in the garden for four people.There is a fire-pit in the back garden so you have a chance to do some outdoor cooking if you wish.

The guesthouse is accessible by car, there are two outdoor parking places in the front garden. Air-conditioning provides both heating (supported by an electric panel) and cooling,  so the cabin welcomes its guests in all seasons.

All pets are welcomed-we are fond of birds, dogs and cats- so you can travel and explore the Danube bend with your four-legged friends.

The minimum booking period is two nights!

Prices

Prices before December 31, 2023:
One-two people: 25000 HUF/night
For three people: 28000 HUF/night
For four people: 31000 HUF/night

Prices from January 1, 2024:
For one-two people: 26000 HUF/night
For three people: 30000 HUF/night
For four people: 34000 HUF/night

For children between age 0-2 sleeping here is free.

Cleaning fee: 6000 HUF in case of each booking.

The price of any pets you bring with you cost additional 3000 HUF per booking.
(The number of pets doesn’t matter.)

We would kindly ask you not to let your pets to the furniture and to the gallery or else we charge an additional cleaning fee of 4000 HUF per booking!

On official holidays the cabin can be booked at increased prices.

Tourist tax: 590 HUF/night/person (Necessary to pay for individuals over 18)
